Eleven Composers (and one's a Thereminist!) Receive 2007 Guggenheim Fellowship Awards

Eleven composers have received 2007 John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship Awards. They are among 81 award recipients in the creative arts, and part of a group of 189 individuals receiving awards totaling $7.6 million.
Including Elizabeth Brown, composer and performer based in Brooklyn, New York.
Also during June 17-23 Elizabeth Brown is guest composer and performer with the The Yale Summer School of Music/Norfolk Chamber Music Festival Guitar Workshop with Benjamin Verdery and Canadian Guitar Quartet. Concert on June 16 2007. More information at Elizabeth's Site
